Bright Cluster
Pulse is a powerful data transport application. From
this page you can download a free beta copy for your use. This free
beta however will only transfer data to 25 nodes. To unlock the power
to transfer to an unlimited number of nodes all you need to do is
register for the Bright Cluster Pulse Forum.

1. Pulse server runs on Debian
3.1, known as Sarge. If you have Sarge
installed on the desired server
then please proceed to step 2. If
you do not have Debian Sarge installed
please visit the Debian
installer page and follow the instructions:
Please note that Sarge is currently being prepared for formal release. Until then the installer program continues to be modified. If you are new to Debian, we recommend using the netinst CD image, with Debian base linked from the installer page that is appropriate for your hardware. 2. Login as root. 3. Add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list and save: deb http://brightcluster.com/downloads/pulse_server 4. From a prompt on the command line enter the command: apt-get update 5. Now enter the command: apt-get install pulse_server 6. Pulse Server is now ready for use. |
