Bright Cluster builds HPTC products around Pulse™ -- the company's non-stop, any-to-many data movement technology. The technology has been developed for throughput computing environments, and is useful in any situation where moving large chunks of data to hundreds or thousands of nodes quickly and reliably is important.

The Bright Cluster product concept was born out of the founders' shared experience at VA Linux Systems. There, they observed that more and more mainstream clients were adopting clusters. Convinced that what these mainstream, or “Early-Majority” customers really want is simplicity, ease-of-ownership, and unmatched system performance that scales, Bright Cluster set out to design and market a set of HPTC products that are straight forward, powerful, scalable, and reliable.
